Set within the 12th Arrondissement in Paris, the open air gym Parc de Bercy is both set and protagonist in Marine Peixoto’s Bercy. Photographing the outdoor gym every day between 2020 and 2023, Peixoto's practice mirrored the routine, repetition and growth of her subject. Photographed in black and white, with sharp contrast and a focus on body, strength and metal, readers are invited to reflect on notions of endurance and faith in both others and oneself.
